Adulting is hard.

My name is Dianna Garrett, FNP, and I am the founder of Palmetto Aesthetics. I have worked in the medical field as a nurse and nurse practitioner for 13 years. If there’s one thing I have learned in my years in the medical field, is that adulting is hard.

I served in primary care for 5 years and common concerns are fatigue and anxiety. Often times, both of these symptoms simply boil down to lack of self care.

Adulting is hard.

As a parent, your kids come first.

As a spouse, your spouse’s needs come first.

As an adult child, your parents comes first.

As an employee, your employer’s needs come first.

Somewhere at the bottom of the barrel is self.

I learned adulting is hard and people do not take time for self care.

Self care is important. My patients can tell you that I always say, ‘You cannot pour from an empty cup!’

Make YOU a priority. Without your own self care, you are too drained and too tired to care for others. Self care is not selfish- it is necessary!

I wanted a place where people could come make themselves a priority. And so, Palmetto Aesthetics was born!
