Dermal Fillers
Dermal Fillers are used to treat lines and wrinkles in the face. Palmetto Aesthetics is proud to offer Revanesse dermal fillers.
Revanesse fillers are FDA approved for the treatment of moderate to severe facial wrinkles and creases as well as lip augmentation for patients 22 years and older. The length of results vary from 6 months to 1 year.
Revanesse is packaged in a 1.2ml syringe compared to a 1 ml syringe that other companies offer.
Clinical trials show less swelling than with that of competitors. Results can last for up to a year and their 1.2ml syringe allows you 20% more product in one purchase. More product that is long-lasting makes this quality product a more cost-effective option.
The safety profile is impeccable. In a study of over 300 participants, no serious adverse events were noted.

Cosmetic Injections
Jeuveau and Xeomin are both brands of botulin toxin type A, most commonly known as the brand name Botox. There are 5 branded toxins that are FDA- approved for use- Jeuveau, Xeomin, Dysport, Botox, and Daxify. Palmetto Aesthetics Medical Spa offers Jeuveau and Xeomin. Each are used to smooth out lines and wrinkles in the forehead and around the eyes. Continued treatments (usually every 3-4 months) will help improve the look of lines and wrinkles.
The procedure is quick and there is essentially no downtime. You can even come see us on your lunch break! There are a few short post-procedure instructions like not laying down for 4 hours and no exercise for 24 hours.
The procedure is approved for clients 18 years and older. These treatments are for everyone whether you are softening existing lines or trying to prevent any from beginning!

Would I Be A Good Candidate For TruSculpt® ID?
Studies have shown that just about all women and over half of men have areas of their body they would like to contour and improve. Pockets of unwanted fat in the lower abdomen and the flanks are among the most common complaints. Many people are perfect candidates for this quick, non-invasive treatment with no recovery time, but it’s not for everyone.
If you have a BMI over 30, other procedures such as liposuction may be a better choice to give optimal results. It also helps if there is good elasticity of the skin in the treatment areas. This allows the skin to tighten back down to the new contour being created when almost a quarter of the fat is removed. During the initial consultation, your provider will determine if you’re a good candidate for truSculpt iD and discuss all options with you.
Are TruSculpt® ID Results Permanent?
Your truSculpt® iD eradicates a percentage of the fat cells that exist in the target area. These cells are flushed out of the body through the lymphatic system. Your body will not regenerate more fat cells to replace them, nor will other fat cells migrate to the area that's been treated. While you'll always have fewer fat cells in the area treated with ruSculpt® iD, that doesn't mean you will always have the body contours you want. It is up to you to maintain your results by maintaining a healthy, active lifestyle. With that, it's relatively easy to enjoy prolonged effects from your body contouring treatment.
Can TruSculpt® ID Get Rid Of Cellulite?
No, truSculpt® iD will not eliminate cellulite. This condition that causes ripples in your skin is caused by cords that tether superficial tissue to the muscle beneath. The fibrous bands tug on the skin as fat presses outward. Interestingly, even though truSculpt® iD removes some of the fat from the area, cellulite dimples may remain consistent. This is because the treatment has no effect on the bands that pull points of the skin inward. It should be said that even liposuction is not viewed as a solution for cellulite.
How Can I Maximize My TruSculpt® ID Results?
Your truSculpt® iD treatments work synergistically with your body. After the RF energy destroys fat cells, your body's natural immune response will pick up the fat cells and flush them. Knowing this, you might engage a few strategies to help the process along. Some suggestions include:
Dry brush. The act of dry brushing maximizes your body's lymphatic flow and drainage. Dry brushing can be done on various points of the body, not just the target area, to effectively promote the entrapment and elimination of the destroyed fat.
Lymphatic massage. If you prefer to let someone else do the work, you might trade dry brushing for a professional lymphatic massage. This type of massage is generally very comfortable and focuses only on facilitating the movement of lymph fluid through the body.
Drink plenty of water. Your lymphatic system relies on proper hydration for efficient flow. After your body contouring treatment, it can be helpful to drink at least three liters of water each day as your body works to flush the unwanted fat.
Exercise. Like all of the other suggestions, exercise, even a daily walk or a few jumps up and down, can be very supportive of the lymphatic processing that is at work to eliminate fat cells.
Is TruSculpt® ID Safe? Will I Have Side Effects?
This treatment has been through stringent clinical trials to prove its safety and efficacy for FDA clearance. There is very little risk of adverse reactions due to the complementary nature of radiofrequency energy. The side effects that can occur after truSculpt® iD treatments are typically limited to mild tenderness, swelling, and redness. These usually resolve in a matter of hours.
What Does The TruSculpt® ID Procedure Feel Like?
It's not uncommon for patients to feel concerned about discomfort during their body contouring procedure. TruSculpt® iD works via monopolar radiofrequency, which passes through the skin without causing surface heat. The thermal energy lands in deep layers of the skin as well as the superficial subcutaneous layer of fat. Here, where heat is felt, it tends to be well-tolerated without any need for anesthetic. Keep in mind that, based on your personal pain threshold, you might find the procedure to be more or less uncomfortable than others. Talk with your provider during your treatment. If needed, they can adjust your settings to make you more comfortable.
Is There Any Downtime After A TruSculpt® ID Session?
